LogRecord

Introduction
Record of log entries containing data for a device's position and speed at a specific date and time.
GetFeed does not guarantee that returned LogRecord entries are in chronological order by LogRecord.dateTime, and a later GetFeed call can return a LogRecord with an older LogRecord.dateTime than one already received. Applications building real-time tracking (e.g. a live map) should not render positions in the order they are received. Instead, cache the most recent LogRecord.dateTime seen per LogRecord.device and discard any incoming LogRecord whose LogRecord.dateTime is older than that cached value for the same device. Applications that only need the current position of each device, rather than the full position history, should use DeviceStatusInfo instead, which returns the latest known state per device.

dateTime

The date and time the log was recorded.

device

The Device this log belongs to.

id

The unique identifier for the specific Entity object in the Geotab system. See Id.

latitude

The latitude of the log record.

longitude

The longitude of the log record.

speed

The logged speed or an invalid speed (in km/h).
